We’re proud to share that Spotted Zebra has been named a winner of the 2026 Culture 100 Awards, run by Maya. The awards recognise the UK’s most thriving workplaces. This year’s shortlist was drawn from a review of more than 5,000 companies and a survey of over 20,000 employees.

The recognition means a lot to us, because culture is something we’ve built on purpose, not left to chance.

What the judges recognised

Spotted Zebra is fully remote, and we’ve worked hard to make sure distance doesn’t mean disconnection. Regular all-company meetings give everyone a clear view of how the business is doing, what each team is working on and where we’re heading next, along with an open forum to ask questions. That transparency is what makes ownership real. When people can see the bigger picture, they can see exactly how their work moves it forward.

Our values shape how that ownership works day to day:

  • Roam Free: autonomy, trust and responsibility for outcomes
  • Gallop Ahead: a commitment to delivering thoughtful, high-quality work
  • Brighten the Trail: backing each other, especially when the path gets hard
  • Graze New Grounds: a growth mindset and a drive to keep improving

We also invest in growth as part of the job rather than something squeezed in around it. Everyone has access to dedicated learning days, personal development budgets and budget to explore the latest developments in AI.

Practising what we build

Our platform helps organisations hire for skills and potential, so people are seen for what they can actually do. It matters to us that our own workplace reflects the same belief: give people the trust, support and room to grow, and they’ll do career-defining work.

“Being fully remote, we’ve had to be deliberate about building a culture where everyone feels trusted, connected and backed, so knowing this recognition is grounded in what our team told the judges makes it especially meaningful. We help organisations see people for their skills and potential, and it matters to us that we live that inside Spotted Zebra too.”
